We consider your first visit the start of a long-term relationship. During your initial appointment, our team will perform a comprehensive evaluation to assess the condition of your oral health, including a review of your dental history and any concerns you’d like to address. From there, we’ll create a personalized dental plan based on your unique needs, whether that means routine cleanings and exams, preventative dentistry, or a referral to our prosthodontics team for more complex care.
Getting Ready for Your Appointment
To help your first visit go smoothly, complete your new patient forms in advance. We have separate forms for each location: Springboro Forms and Dayton Forms. Please bring a photo ID, your insurance information, and any completed new patient forms. If you were referred by another provider, bring your referral slip as well.
How long does a first dental visit take?
Most new patient visits include a comprehensive exam, X-rays if needed, and time to discuss your dental history and goals, so plan for a somewhat longer appointment than a routine cleaning.
Do I need to fill out paperwork before I arrive?
Yes, we recommend completing your new patient forms ahead of time to save time in the office. Forms are available separately for our Springboro and Dayton locations.
What if I have dental anxiety?
Let our team know when you schedule your appointment. We offer sedation dentistry options and take extra time to walk anxious patients through each step of treatment.
Will I get a full treatment plan on my first visit?
In most cases, yes. After your exam, your dentist will discuss any findings and outline a personalized treatment plan based on your oral health needs and goals.
Do you accept referrals from other dentists?
Yes, we regularly accept referrals for prosthodontic, periodontal, and other specialized dental care. Bring your referral slip to your first appointment.
